Integrative Lactation Care is committed to accessible and comprehensive lactation care for all families. We serve all families regardless of feeding method, and are committed to helping you achieve your goals.
- Insurance: As of January 2025, ILC is now able to bill several insurance providers in-network! Please complete our insurance-based appointment request form so that we can verify coverage for you.
- For families whose plans do not cover lactation care with us, superbills are provided and many parents have no issue with out-of-network reimbursement; non-covered families are also welcome to apply for sliding scale regardless of income.
- Sliding Scale: If prices below are beyond your financial means, sliding scale is available. You can read more about our pricing model and apply for sliding scale consideration here.
- Location Flexible: In-home lactation care is available within a 30-minute drive of Ann Arbor, Michigan for an additional fee. Depending on availability, requests outside this radius may be accommodated, or you may request an appointment at our Ann Arbor office.
- Packages: You are encouraged to consider purchasing one of our packages below, which includes extensive support at a discounted per-visit rate.

Services
In-Home Comprehensive Lactation Consultation
For parents/caregivers seeking support for lactation, including breastfeeding, chestfeeding, combo feeding, and pumping.
90-minute initial consult includes:
- review of comprehensive intake form
- a hands-on assessment of your baby, including reflexes, mobility, & oral anatomy/structures
- a breast/chest exam
- pump fitting
- a functional assessment of latch and/or bottle feeding
- weighted feeding to assess milk transfer (on a scale sensitive to 2g)
- written care plan with resources
- referrals to additional care providers, if needed
- 2 weeks of follow-up support via text/secure patient portal

Bottle Feeding/Bottle Refusal Consultation
For parents/caregivers seeking support for bottle feeding (formula, donor milk, or expressed milk).
60-minute consult includes:
- review of comprehensive intake form
- a visual assessment of your baby, including reflexes, mobility, & oral anatomy/structures
- a functional assessment of bottle feeding
- discussion of your concerns
- guidance for bottle refusal (if applicable)
- written care plan with resources
- referrals to additional care providers, if needed
- 2 weeks of follow-up support via text/secure patient portal

Return to Work Consultation
For parents/caregivers seeking support for effective pumping & bottle feeding when returning to work.
60-minute consult includes:

- discussion of your pumping goals / return to work plan

- written care plan with resources

Text Support
For parents/caregivers seeking interim support for lactation & feeding, including breastfeeding, chestfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping. A great gift for expecting parents!
One week of text support includes:
- ability to reach out at any time (24/7) with questions
- guaranteed minimum of 3 replies per day during business hours
- access to secure messaging portal
- priority scheduling for appointments
- resources for immediate postpartum & newborn feeding
Text support is intended to serve as a bridge to either normal, effective feeding or to a consultation for ongoing feeding issues. It is not appropriate for addressing issues that persist.

For parents seeking support to troubleshoot persistent sleep challenges from a holistic & nurture-centric lens. Zero sleep training involved; we get to the root of your family’s sleep challenges & create a sustainable plan together.

- 30-minute clarity call to help triage your most urgent concerns and answer initial questions
- Comprehensive sleep consultation to review your full intake and perform a thorough assessment of your baby’s sleep health, as well as yours, and collaborate on a plan
- 30-minute follow-up call to assess how the plan is going, and make any tweaks going forward

Tongue Tie Support Package
Working through the diagnosis and release of a tongue tie (and/or lip tie) requires thorough and strategic support for an optimal outcome. With hundreds of hours of advanced training in oral rehabilitation, this is a proud area of specialty for ILC. This package includes pre-release prep support (feeding guidance, oral motor therapy, coaching on timing & expectations) and post-release support (feeding guidance, oral motor therapy, and wound care).
Included:
- Four 30-minute 1-1 sessions to rehabilitate feeding & oral motor skills (usually two pre-release, and two post-release)
- Six 5-minute check-ins during Tuesday group (ideal for briefly assessing progress with exercises & wound healing in between 1-1 sessions)
- Referrals to trusted providers so that you’re not rabbit holing in Facebook groups or Google reviews when you deserve to be sleeping
- Handouts, resources, & guides to help you navigate the release & rehabilitation process with ease
- Unlimited messaging support for 3 months (including priority support 48 hours post-release)

Early Support Package
For parents who want to prioritize education & support beginning in pregnancy, and ensure feeding gets off on the right foot after baby arrives!

- Supported Newborn Sleep course, 3 months of online access ($99)

Standard service radius includes: Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Dexter, Chelsea, Pittsfield Township, Scio Township, Whitmore Lake, Milan, Belleville, Pinckney, Ypsilanti Charter Township, Superior Township, and all other areas within Washtenaw County; we also serve Plymouth, Canton, South Lyon, & Brighton.
Extended service radius includes parts of Oakland County, Wayne County, & Livingston County and varies based on availability.
If you are outside the service radius, appointments are also available by request at our Ann Arbor location (722 Brooks Street).
