In-Home and Virtual Lactation Consultations in Ann Arbor

We provide flexible care options so you can get support in the way that feels most comfortable:

In-home visits

Ideal for early postpartum families or anyone struggling with feeding setup, positioning, or anxiety around feeding. We work with you directly in your home environment to make practical, lasting improvements. (Travel fee applies)

In-office visits

A great option for families beyond immediate postpartum who are ready to leave the house, or who live outside ILC’s travel radius for in-home care. Also a great option for prenatal consultations, pump fittings, and well, anything else!

Virtual consultations

Lactation & feeding care over telehealth might seem hard to do – but I have it down to a science. Whether you are outside Michigan and need fully-virtual support (I’ve served clients in many states and countries outside the US!) or are a local client who just wants to check in without leaving your house – I’ve got you!

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I see a lactation consultant?

Anytime feeding feels painful, confusing, or stressful—or if you simply want reassurance that things are going well. Early support often prevents more serious challenges.

Do you help with low milk supply?

Yes! This is an ILC area of specialty. I take a comprehensive approach to evaluate contributing factors and create an individualized plan that may include feeding adjustments, pumping strategies, and coordination with your healthcare team (running labs, adjusting medication, etc) if needed.

Can you help with tongue tie concerns?

Yes! I assess feeding function and collaborate with pediatric providers or specialists when oral restrictions are suspected. This is an area dear and near to my heart as a parent who went through this personally.

Do you support pumping parents?

Yes! I provide flange fitting, pumping plans, and strategies for exclusive pumping or returning to work. I have extensive training in precision flange fitting and take pumping comfort very seriously!

Can you help with latch pain?

Yes! Latch pain can be incredibly disheartening – but a way through is possible. No amount of pain is acceptable – I am committed to helping parents understand why they’re experiencing pain and providing solutions to resolve it.
